    What you are going to learn

    Functional Use of Herbal Medicine

    If you are new to studying herbal medicine, or even if you have some knowledge already, the Herbal Medicine Basics course is the place to get practical useful skills and knowledge for caring for your health and that of your family.

    This course introduces you to herbal medicine in a way that builds your confidence to explore and experiment, connecting you to your innate ability to heal your self. In this class, Kris Vaughan teaches historical uses of herbal medicine and how it has evolved into our current treatment options. She also teaches herbal remedies you can use at home for common conditions of the Immune, Digestive, Nervous, and Respiratory systems as well as some herbal first-aid remedies. 

    This class will meet on Tuesdays in December, with a break the week of Christmas. Each class session will be 2 hours.


    You will gain knowledge of the various forms of herbal medicine as well as specific actions of the herbs you will learn about. Complete this class with basic knowledge of 10-20 herbs. Space is limited to 12 participants. 

    Cancellations & Refunds:
    Due to the limited space in this class, your registration is required. Cancellations/refunds will only be processed on or before 7 days prior to the class. Any cancellations after this time are non-refundable, but you may transfer your registration to another person.

    About

    Kris is a certified clinical herbalist, herbal educator, herbal medicine maker, and founder of Herbal Wisdom Institute. Kris began her herbalism career in 2008 as a clinical herbalist in private practice and she has worked along side naturopathic and medical physicians. Her herbal career has been focused on support and education for complicated chronic illness.
