Our Guiding Principles
We approach healing and education from the perspective that a deep relationship with nature is a fundamental aspect of what it means to be an herbalist.
We look to Earth, land, nature, wilderness, and the plants themselves as our first teachers, with human educators and human inventions as supports to our understanding and development.
We believe that herbalists, instructors, and all professionals in healing work should be able to support themselves and their family through their work.
We believe that education should be accessible.
We believe that healing should be accessible.
We believe that effective business is the current model for social change, and that business should be conducted with integrity and consideration for all beings and all things.
